15 Enchanting Facts You Didn't Know About the Harry Potter Books

Starting with the Philosopher's stone and ending with the Deathly Hallows, this series has swept millions all over the world, making J.K. Rowling the first person in the world to ever become a billionaire from writing books. One thing is bound to be said: she deserved it. 1. In the Spanish version of the books, Neville's toad was translated into a turtle.
2. J.K. Rowling said if Hermione looked into the Mirror of Erised in the middle of the series, she'd see Harry, Ron, and herself unharmed, as well as Voldemort finally dead.
3. The Hand of Glory is inspired by a piece of folklore from hundreds of years ago.
4. Stan Shunpike and Ernie Prang (nightbus) are named after Rowling's grandfathers.
