5 Harry Potter Conspiracy Theories That Will Blow Your Mind

Perhaps the best part of belonging to a large fandom like Harry Potter is that people keep coming up with epic conspiracy theories that might just be true and discovering new details you never noticed... We found five theories that would make every Potterhead gasp in shock as they think about the new possibilities and major twists it brings with it. Are you ready to have your mind blow? Then keep reading.

1. The real reason Snape was not allowed to teach DATDA

Think about it. All along, Dumbledore and Snape were working together to protect Harry, so why would Dumbledore, who knew the Defense Against the Dark Arts position was cursed by Voldemort, let his number one ally just walk into danger like that? If this theory is right, it means that it's not that Dumbledore didn't fully trust Snape and was worried he would go back to being a Death Eater, but he was just protecting him.

2. The hospital visit in book 5 contained hidden clues for the end.

Kreacher tricked Harry into believing Sirius is in danger and coming to the ministry on magic, where the battle for the prophecy happened. Sirius showed up to help and was tragically killed.

3. Harry and Ron accurately predicted the future in divination.

In the Goblet of Fire, Harry and Ron are too lazy to finish their divination homework, but what they make up comes true! They wrote they would be: in danger of burns, lose a treasured possession, be stabbed in the back by a friend, and come off worse in a fight. All this applies to Harry, as he is in danger of burns because of the dragon in the first task, loses a treasured possession (Ron) in the lake during the second task, gets stabbed in the back by who he thought was Moody, and comes off worse in the final fight between Voldemort (Voldemort returns and Cedric is killed).

4. Bet the creator of the show was a big Harry Potter fan:
